Our June triathlons in aid of Drogheda Hospice finished on tuesday. I wish to thank all our participants and especially Niamh Walsh, who so far has rised almost 300 Euros in aid of Drogheda Hospice, Richard McKenna, Michael Tuohy and David Leach , who raised 150 Euros each using their sponsorship cards. I want to thank Denise Lynch, Wendy Penders and proprietor of Westgate Fitness Centre – Paul Byrne, for the final support . With all participants having competed we are still awaiting for our final figure, which should be donated to Drogheda Hospice at the end of this week. I will keep everyone up to date!
I wish to ackowledge all our members, that due to excellent atmosphere and fun, we will have another charity events as early as September this year. I’ve spoken to Drogheda Hospice management about our annual events, which was accepted with greatest appreciation!
